What to Expect
Beginning of Shift: Please arrive 10 minutes early to your volunteer shift allow smooth transitions. T-shirts will be provided to designate you as a volunteer. Please put a shirt on over what you are already wearing. We also recommend bring a beverage, snacks, sun screen, and sunglasses--you always look more authoritative with sunglasses :). For each volunteer site, refreshments MIGHT be provided.
End of Shift: Please wait around a few minutes after then end of your shift for the next volunteer to arrive. If no one arrives please call (608) 313-4086.

DONATE & TAKE
Volunteers will collect donations from students, keep the area organized, and answer questions that donors may have. Students are allowed to donate anything that
is in good condition (ask yourself "would I use this?") except for mattresses. Students are also allowed to freely take items from the collection site. Make sure that
no one takes advantage and "hoards items."
Donations will organized into categories that will be labeled on containers. When no students are donating/taking, please try to keep those categories organized the
best you can.

Holy Redeemer
Volunteers will be assisting donors load their items into the SVdP trailer.
SVdP will not take mattresses, futons, TVs, computer monitors, etc. Futons and TV's and be
taken to the DONATE & TAKE site. If someone does bring broken electronics and doesn't want to take them home, you can tell them to leave the items on the side of
the donate trailer.
